Your work stays yours: we don't collect your data
Koy IDE sits next to your code. Koy Agents reads your inbox, your files and the pages you care about. Tools that close to your work have to earn trust, and we know how it feels when an app quietly watches what you do. So we decided early, and we're putting it in writing: we don't collect your data.
What we never collect
- Your code and files
- Your prompts and anything you type
- Your emails and documents
- What your agents produce
And none of it is sold or used for ads. We set no advertising cookies, we don't train AI on your work, and AI requests go straight from your computer to the provider you chose.
The only thing we count: usage events, if you say yes
When you first open Koy IDE or Koy Agents, the app asks one question: may it share usage events? An event is a small signal like "app opened", "workflow created" or "a button was clicked", sent with a random id for your install. It never includes your content or what you type. (In Koy Agents, while you're signed in, events are also linked to your KOY account, so we can see which features each account uses.) Say no and nothing is sent; you can change your mind any time in Settings.
The setting used to be called "Share usage data". We've renamed it "Share usage events", because that's exactly what it is: counts of what happens in the app, not your data.
Your work stays on your computer. We only count clicks — and only if you let us.
On this website
afliz.com asks before it sets any analytics cookie. If you choose Accept all, Google Analytics counts page visits and clicks so we can see which pages help. If you choose Reject all, it never loads. Either way, you can change your choice from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Why we bother
Because the alternative is asking you to trust us blindly, and you shouldn't have to. Counting events tells us which features matter and where people get stuck. That's all we need to make Koy better, so that's all we ask for.
