AFLIZ

Getting started

Set up Koy IDE 2 for a project and hand your first task to the agents. It takes about five minutes.

1. Get Koy IDE 2

Download Koy IDE 2 for your computer — macOS, Windows or Linux — install it, open it and choose your project folder.

2. Check the CLI

The afliz command is built into Koy IDE 2's terminals — no Node.js needed. Open one in your project and check that Koy can see it:

terminal
$ afliz status
TipFor CI or another terminal, use the standalone afliz file from the download page — it runs on Node.js 22 or newer.

3. Add a pipeline

Pipelines live in koy.yaml at the root of your project. Each step becomes a task for an agent:

koy.yaml
pipelines:
  checks:
description: Typecheck and build before review
    steps:
      - id: typecheck
        run: 'npm run typecheck'
        agent: quality

Run it with afliz pipeline checks, or from chat with /pipeline checks.

4. Run your first task

  1. Describe the goal: afliz task "Add a products collection".
  2. Follow the plan with afliz tasks.
  3. Review the evidence with afliz show <id>, then afliz approve <id>.
NoteThe first time, Koy asks you to trust the project folder (--trust) and to approve a pipeline's commands (--yes). It asks again whenever those commands change.
