Koy IDE 2

For developers & product teams
Out now

The IDE where agents do the work.

Describe the goal. An orchestrator plans, specialist agents build and test in isolation, and every change waits for your approval — with the evidence attached.

Version 2.5 · macOS, Windows and Linux · afliz built in · local models or your own keys

New in Koy IDE 2

Smaller, faster, one team.

Full release notes →
A new, smaller app

Koy IDE 2 uses your system's web view instead of a bundled browser — about 20 MB to download.

afliz built in

The command line works in Koy's own terminals without installing Node.js.

The agents work as one

Each agent has one job and its own files, so the team hands work over cleanly.

A clean start

Koy IDE 2 is its own app with its own data folder.

Why Koy IDE 2

Review finished work, not suggestions.

Plans, then delegates

A team of agents works as one — each with one job: exploring, building, checking and shipping.

You stay in control

Changes are staged with diffs, test runs and screenshots. Nothing is committed without you.

Smarter per project

Steps that pass become skills; failures become lessons the agents remember.

Your models, your machine

Use local models or your own keys. Code leaves your machine only for the provider you choose.

From the terminal

The same agents, from the command line.

The afliz CLI hands tasks to the orchestrator, shows you the evidence and commits only when you approve — from your terminal or a CI job.

Getting-started guide →
terminal
$ afliz task "Add a products collection"
✓ planned 3 steps · Explore → Implement → Quality
$ afliz show 142
✓ ready for review · +212 −38 · 18 tests passed
$ afliz approve 142
✓ committed · skill learned

How it works

From goal to approved commit.

  1. Describe the goal

In chat or with afliz task. Numbered requirements become a plan.

  2. Agents do the work

Specialists explore, implement and test in an isolated copy of your project.

  3. Review the evidence

Approve to commit — or reject with feedback and the agent tries again.

Local-first

Project memory lives in .koy/ on your machine.

Your choice of model

Local models, or your own keys for the providers you use.

Approval gates

Shell commands, network access and commits need your OK.

Asks before data leaves

Each model provider needs your consent before code is sent.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does my code leave my machine?

Not with local models. With your own keys, requests go only to the provider you configure, and Koy IDE 2 asks for your consent before it sends anything to a provider for the first time. There is no AFLIZ cloud in the loop.

How is this different from an AI coding assistant?

Most assistants add AI to an editor that you drive. Koy IDE 2 is built around a team of agents that plan, build and check the work, so you review finished, tested changes instead of suggestions.

Can I use it in CI?

Yes. The afliz CLI runs tasks and koy.yaml pipelines from a terminal or a CI job. Running pipelines in CI is part of the Pro plan.

Which computers does it run on?

Koy IDE 2 runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x64) and Linux. The download page picks the right build for your computer.

How does Enterprise pricing work?

Teams of 6 or more seats use Enterprise, which includes everything in KOY Pro for every seat. Pricing is agreed with our sales team — contact sales (sale@afliz.com). More enterprise features, such as single sign-on, roles and audit, are on our roadmap.

Does KOY Pro include Koy Agents?

Yes. One KOY Pro licence ($10 a month, with a 30-day free trial, or $100 a year) unlocks Pro in both Koy IDE 2 and Koy Agents on the same KOY account.

Do I pay for AI models separately?

Yes. You bring your own keys, or run local models for free, and pay model providers directly for what you use. Koy IDE 2 plans do not include AI usage.
